Discover the hidden beauty and ecological value of East Gippsland’s littoral rainforests, also known as Coastal Vine Thickets. These unique ecosystems are vital refuges for native species including the Sooty Owl, Long-nosed Potoroo, Rufous Fantail, and Lace Monitor.

Join local restoration experts and land managers as they explore multiple rainforest sites and discuss their evolution, biodiversity, and health. Learn about native flora like Wonga Vine, Blueberry Ash, Lilly Pilly, and native Passionfruit, and understand how these rainforests help filter runoff and protect our precious waterways.
